Roberto Giulio Rida was born in Milan where he grew up and he studied at the Brera Academy achieving brilliant success. After his studies and the military service he started selling art objects. In the early seventies he returned to Milan and focuses his studies on the arts of the 20th century. In parallel, he created lamps and furniture dressed, covered or entwined with glass and crystal.

Roberto Giulio Rida is an art designer. His incredible creativity produces works that are sublime and unbelievably imaginative. Without worrying about trends, he draws the visitor into a strange world where science-fiction, the Italian Renaissance and the intensity of mineral light all collide.
